Almost famous (2000). Description
William Miller is an aspiring journalist. He has bright ambitions and prospects for the future, but for now he is interested in rock music and writes his articles about it. The young man's mother has worked at a local college all her life, even after receiving a professorship. That's probably why she always wanted her son to have a serious profession, like a lawyer. One day, William decided to send his articles to a popular magazine dedicated to rock music. After reading his writings, the editor–in-chief was so inspired that he immediately decided to give the young journalist a chance to write an article about the Black Sabbath concert.<br /> <br /> But before William starts his work, the editor gives him very good advice – in no case should he trust his idol, because only in this case the articles turn out to be really truthful and adequate. This first experience was a breakthrough for William, and soon he received another commission to write new articles about the concert of famous rock bands. As a result, he went on a world tour with one of the bands, and this trip became special for him. He was able to get to know the star team better, to feel what it's like to have a crowd of fans chasing you. In addition, he met a very beautiful girl, and even fell in love with her. But the main character was most impressed by the air trip, because their plane almost fell from a height of several tens of kilometers.
