Risk of a Quick Sell-Out and Waitlist

In 2025, SuperNationals recorded a registration high, with many classes closing well ahead of the event. Entry spots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Once a class reaches its capacity limit, all subsequent registrations are placed on a waitlist with no guarantees.

The updated participation terms also warrant attention. SKUSA is asking all prospective entrants to review the cancellation and refund policy in advance, which has been tightened to address late withdrawals. Such withdrawals have in the past created serious difficulties for drivers who had been waiting on the waitlist for months.

Master Shifter Removed from the Lineup

The Master Shifter class will not be featured in 2026. The reasons lie in a sustained decline in registration and actual participation over several recent seasons of the national calendar. With demand growing in other classes and track time limited, organizers determined it was justified to reallocate the available slot in favor of higher-participation categories.

On expectations for the new classes: "SuperNats has always attracted drivers from around the world. Bringing back Rotax Mini MAX and Rotax Senior MAX opens the door to another large group of drivers and teams, and we expect serious international interest in both classes."

On registration: "Last year showed how quickly the event can fill up. If you know you want to compete, don't wait. We also strongly encourage everyone to review the updated terms, especially the cancellation and refund policy, which has been revised to address late withdrawals."

On removing Master Shifter: "It was a tough class to cut. We have a great deal of respect for the drivers who supported Master Shifter, but participation numbers kept declining. With limited track time and growth in other classes, we had to direct that slot where it would reach more competitors."
