SKUSA ANNOUNCES CONTINUED COLLABORATION WITH IAME ITALY WHICH WILL SEE THE 2024 SKUSA PRO TOUR AND WINTER SERIES CO-BRANDED AS THE ‘IAME SERIES USA WEST’
Thursday, 07 December 2023 09:26

Fresh off the momentum of the 2023 SuperNationals, SKUSA is pleased to reveal a deeper collaboration globally with IAME Italy (S.p.A.S.U.) for the 2024 season. Beginning in January, the SKUSA Winter Series and subsequent ProTour events will also be recognized worldwide as the IAME Series USA West. The naming convention is part of a bigger push by IAME Italy to unify racing series across different countries and spotlight talent from multiple continents.

"It's a great thing to help bring everyone under one banner,” explained SKUSA’s principal Tom Kutscher. “The competition in the United States has become one of the best in the world, and we’re always keen on having our most talented drivers recognized in the same discussions as other greats in the sport.”
As a key element of the unification, IAME Italy is renewing their commitment to bring series champions together for the IAME World Finals (IWF) in 2024. For the IAME USA West Series champions, IAME Italy is pleased to offer the following prizes:

For both the 2024 SKUSA Winter Series and the SKUSA ProTour Series, the champions in Mini Swift, X30 Junior, and X30 Senior will be awarded a FREE ENTRY* to the IWF24. The prize includes:
  • Race entry fee to the IWF24 event
  • 2 sets of race tires
*Racers are responsible for other expenses related to participation, including travel, food, and lodging.

"I'm looking forward to getting more racers from America overseas to compete," added Kutscher. "This is something that took a hiatus during the pandemic, but we’re eager to see more American representation abroad. We’re tremendously grateful to IAME Italy for their continued support and look forward to helping put SKUSA’s champions on the world’s stage.
