Recently we learned that some manufacturers of youth chest protectors were incorrectly claiming that their products met SFI specifications as provided for in our rules. (See below.) Only three manufactures are SFI approved; the use of other chest protectors do not meet our regulations and cannot be used. Should a non-approved protector be found in use, you will be required to obtain an approved one prior to any on-track activity.
