Superkarts! Usa Confirms First Shipment Of Iame Sse To United States And Limited Introductory Pricing
Wednesday, 10 October 2018 13:08

After months of development and fine tuning, IAME USA West today confirmed the initial shipment of the long awaited IAME SSE. The first units are expected to arrive in the United States as early as next week. Orders will begin immediate fulfillment in the order they were received, with boxes leaving the IAME USA West headquarters as quickly as they come in.

“It’s been a long time coming,” remarked IAME USA West and SKUSA principal Tom Kutscher. “If I had a dollar for every time someone asked me when the new engine would be here, I’d be a wealthy man. The demand for this thing is unreal and I couldn’t be more excited to finally have it here.”

IAME USA (East and West) are both excited about the introductory pricing being offered during the initial rollout. “We know kart racers have choices, so we’ve worked aggressively with our partners to offer a special price of $3655.00 — *while supplies last,” elaborated Tom Kutscher. “We encourage people to act quickly, because once the deal is gone… it’s gone.”

IAME USA, in partnership with IAME S.P.A, Tillotson, and MG Tires, have worked tirelessly on revitalizing the shifter kart program in the Superkarts! USA competition platform. Countless hours of testing, assessment, and refinement went in to the new SSE powerplant. Enthusiasm is high for the upcoming debut, with Pro Shifter first to christen the new platform in 2019 with Master to follow suit in 2020.

Once the promotional pricing ends, the IAME SSE will retail for $5,250 USD. The package comes complete with everything for basic operation, including ignition, Tillotson carburetor, pipe, inlet silencer, and water pump with pulley. The water cooled, reed valve engine produces a staggering 49 HP at 13,000 RPM and a hefty 27 ft. pounds of torque at 12,500 RPM.

“We know teams and drivers are anxious to get their hands on these,” Kutscher said. “With the competition debut just months away at the SKUSA Winter Series, everyone is eager to begin testing.”

IAME once again confirmed their commitment to support the SSE platform, in the form of factory representation at SKUSA events. Lynn Haddock, IAME USA Technical Director went on to add “with an emphasis on engine parity and the popular SKUSA competition claiming rule, we see the IAME SSE class structure being strong from the beginning.”

More details and fulfillment information will be available in the coming days to those who have already ordered. Those interested in purchasing are encouraged to contact IAME USA West or East, or authorized IAME dealers, to secure introductory pricing and earliest possible fulfillment.
