Recently we have had a few reports of fuel / oil separation. All of these came from area's where the weather is still quite cold (below 40 degrees). While these reports have been very isolated, we want to remind everyone of a couple of basic practices to help avoid problems in this regard:

Never leave mixed fuel in the tank overnight. It should always be drained back into a sealed container.

Mixed fuel should always be stored in the warmest available place.

Mixed fuel should always be vigorously shaken before pouring into the karts tank.
Please remember, the ELF 909 oil we use is an SAE-50 weight so extra care needs to be taken to ensure a good mix is attained.
