Superkarts! Usa Confirms First Shipment Of Iame Sse To United States And Limited Introductory Pricing

After months of development and fine tuning, IAME USA West today confirmed the initial shipment of the long awaited IAME SSE. The first units are expected to arrive in the United States as early as next week. Orders will begin immediate fulfillment in the order they were received, with boxes leaving the IAME USA West headquarters as quickly as they come in.

“It’s been a long time coming,” remarked IAME USA West and SKUSA principal Tom Kutscher. “If I had a dollar for every time someone asked me when the new engine would be here, I’d be a wealthy man. The demand for this thing is unreal and I couldn’t be more excited to finally have it here.”

SKUSA and IAME USA Outline Release for Long Awaited SKUSA ‘SSE’ Spec 175cc Shifter Engine

Superkarts! USA (SKUSA), in conjunction with IAME USA and IAME S.P.A., are excited to announce details of the long awaited release of the SKUSA shifter engine (SSE). The powerplant has been in development for several months with multiple iterations, developments, and improvements along the way. Both IAME and SKUSA couldn’t be more excited for the next evolution of the shifter platform in Superkarts! USA competition.

“It’s no secret, I’m a gearbox guy at heart,” explained SKUSA president Tom Kutscher. “As far back as the days when I drove in SKUSA myself, I’ve always enjoyed the added challenge of shifting gears. That said, finding the appropriate successor to the current engine format was something I took great care to consider and make perfect.”

International Kart Federation Announces Early Steps for Future

The International Kart Federation is the world’s longest standing karting organization, with over sixty years of racing in its history. Having recently joined forces with Superkarts! USA, the new partnership is slowly taking shape to begin the next chapter in the IKF’s long and fabled story.

Superkarts! USA has been working tirelessly with the IKF to close down their previous operations and simultaneously create new local and regional programs that continue to serve by introducing the sport to new drivers. “This all materialized incredibly quickly,” said SKUSA principal Tom Kutscher. “The opportunity for unification came in the midst of our regular SKUSA competition programs, so my staff and I have been working double duty to manage the IKF coming into the fold.”

Ninth Annual Superkarts! USA Pro Tour SpringNationals Set for Phoenix

For the fourth time in Superkarts! USA history, the SKUSA Pro Tour is set to travel to the Phoenix Kart Racing Association facility. The ‘Formula K Raceway’ in Glendale, Arizona is set to host the organization on May 4-6 for the second event of the 2018 season – the SKUSA Pro Tour SpringNationals. The six-round championship program that is the 2018 SKUSA Pro Tour began at the NOLA Motorsports Park in Avondale, Louisiana in March at the WinterNationals. Over 200 drivers took part in the 2018 opening event, with similar numbers expected for Arizona. The middle two rounds of the series are set for the PKRA facility, where the organization has visited three times in the previous eight years of the SKUSA Pro Tour (2012, 2015, and 2016).

Superkarts! USA Officially Addresses Findings Of Illegal And Deliberately Modified Engines From SuperNationals 21

At the heart of every competitor is the desire to win. Unfortunately, this desire sometimes leads some people to adopt a win-at-all-costs mentality, with some engine builders, parents, and drivers willing to sacrifice their ethics and their children's reputations. In turn, this mentality finds a partner and we end up having the nature and type of cheating found in the micro and mini classes last year - culminating in public and worldwide humiliation of child competitors at the 2017 SuperNationals in Las Vegas.
