SKUSA Competition Bulletin: 2014 Pro Tour Priority Pre-Entry Program |
Monday, 07 April 2014 16:34 |
Pro Tour SpringNationals competitors to receive priority entry for Modesto Grand Prix SummerNationals Superkarts! USA is extremely pleased with the tremendous interest in the upcoming SKUSA Pro Tour SpringNationals on May 2-4, 2014 at the Dallas Karting Complex in Caddo Mills, Texas. The entry numbers are expected to max out in several categories, and in keeping with the intent of the Priority Pre-Entry Program for the SuperNationals, SKUSA has elected to offer the SpringNationals participants the first opportunity to enter the Modesto Grand Prix SummerNationals. There is great interest in the northern California street race, but Superkarts! USA believes that it is imperative that those running for the full Pro Tour championship, shown by their participation in Texas, should be given the chance to run the full series through this additional priority entry program. As such, all SpringNationals participants will be given special access to registration for the SummerNationals for at least a week before it is opened fully to the public. Additional information will be supplied at a later date. Superkarts! USA to Provide Two Free Entries to SuperNationals XVIII at Susan Lowe Classic It was announced during the California ProKart Challenge event at the Adams Motorsports Park this past weekend that Superkarts! USA will be providing two FREE entries to the SuperNationals in conjunction with the upcoming So-Cal Sprinters 2nd Annual Susan Lowe Classic memorial race. The April 19 event at Adams will see the SKUSA TaG Senior class winner earn one of the ‘free ride’ entries, which includes race tires, an order of fuel and oil, and a guaranteed starting spot on SuperSunday for the main event. An additional SuperNats entry, including race tires and an order of fuel and oil (class to be determined), will be auctioned off at the Adams event, and the money raised will be donated to the City of Hope in honor of Susan Lowe. More info will be posted shortly at www.so-calsprinters.com and at www.adamsmotorsportspark.com. Retraction: Rocky Mountain ProKart Challenge US Rotax Max Challenge ‘Punches’ In a press release on March 27, it was announced that drivers competing in the seven United States Rotax Max Challenge categories as part of the Rocky Mountain ProKart Challenge can earn ‘punches’ toward the US Rotax Grand Nationals. This is the case only at the Grand Junction Motor Speedway events, as part of the CRG-USA Colorado Rotax Series. The May 24-25 and August 30-31 events are included as part of the Grand Junction-based USRMC. The May rounds will count at punches to the 2014 Grand Nationals and the August rounds will count towards 2015. The rounds at the SBR Motorsports Park in Calhan, Colorado on June 21-22 will not count as punches for the USRMC. |
