You couldn’t ask for much more when it comes to the excitement that is building for the 15th edition of the Superkarts! USA SuperNationals. Despite the fact that the race is still over three months away, three classes have already hit their current maximum entry of 40 drivers and more are closing in on this pre-determined target each day. Only a limited number of classes can be extended to more than one race group, due to time constraints in the weekend schedule, and those opportunities are being used up quickly. It is certainly encouraging for the future of SKUSA that it is the youngest drivers who are filling the current rosters, as both TaG Cadet and TaG Junior have both maxed out, each also building up their waiting lists, which signals the potential of expanding the grid to 80 competitors in each class. TaG Master has also topped the 40-mark for Vegas, continuing the momentum that SKUSA has created with the class on the Pro Tour, which enjoyed greatly increased fields at both the SpringNationals and the SummerNationals in 2011.
“We’re extremely excited by the influx of entries that we’ve been processing over the past month, and it’s certainly an interesting indication of where we are seeing growth in both our SuperNationals program and SKUSA as a whole,” comments Tom Kutscher, Superkarts! USA CEO. “We’re thrilled in knowing that TaG Cadet will very likely hit the 80-driver mark, and the full grid of TaG Juniors will be great as well. The fact that we’ve already sold out TaG Master is also a huge deal for us. I can’t wait to see how the Master field lines up for next year’s Pro Tour as well, as I hope we’ll be getting everyone out to play in 2012. We’re having a great time with the class this year!”

As you may have heard, the TaG Cadet class has already reached its capacity of 40 pre-entries for this November's SuperNationals, and SKUSA has a growing wait list of drivers eager to be included on the grid! This year’s SKUSA SuperNationals is less than six months away, and as is the case with an event of this magnitude, long-range planning is crucial to the success of the race. SKUSA opened the online registration for the race on June 1, and while pre-entries are coming in on a regular basis, the SKUSA staff once again understands that by opening the registration for both the SummerNationals (Grand Junction, CO -- July 15-17) and the SuperNationals (Vegas, NV -- Nov 16-20) in the month of June, a financial strain has been put on a number of Superkarts! USA competitors. So, in an effort to support its customers, SKUSA’s Tom Kutscher has again confirmed that any driver who enters the SummerNationals can have their spot in the SuperNationals reserved until later in the summer.
Entry and payment for the SuperNationals may be deferred until August 15 to ease the burden. Those wishing to take advantage of this opportunity are asked to either send an email to Superkarts! USA (

 If you visit the Superkarts! USA website today, you will see there are only 169 days left until the organization’s marquee event – the SKUSA SuperNationals. Oh yes, it’s coming – and it’s going to be big. Last year’s event reached historic measures, with 500 competitors traveling in from all across North America and around the world. The race will return to the Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on November 16-20, and this year’s competition will be the landmark 15th edition of the great event. To help start the race to SuperNationals glory, the organization is happy to open up their online registration on June 1.
With all of the categories on the line-up utilizing a cap on the number of entries to participate, SKUSA is anticipating that they will see many of the classes fill up quickly, as they have for the past few seasons. The online registration for the SKUSA SuperNationals XV will go live at http://www.skusastore.com at midnight on Tuesday, May 31. Drivers wishing to be certain that they will be included in the event are encouraged to enter as soon as possible. The weekend schedule has its limits, and only a couple of classes will be extended past the 40-driver mark.
“It’s hard to believe that the 15th edition of the SuperNats is just around the corner,” stated Superkarts! USA President Tom Kutscher. “I can remember racing in the early years of the event, and now having promoted the last five editions, it’s amazing when you realize where it is today. I can’t thank our dedicated staff enough for all of their hard work over the years – and the support of those who come every year to participate, making the event what it is.
