Split Class Racing Format
Due to high demand, KA100 Senior will be split into 2 groups for Practice, Qualifying and Pre-Finals as described below.  40 will advance to the Main Event/A-Main.  The rest will race in a B-Main.

All Practice, Qualiying, Pre-Final  or Line-ups will be posted to the SKUSA/Race Hero Apps

Practice

All KA100 Senior entries will be put in number order and split into P1 and P2 groups for Saturday practice 1-4.

Qualifying

The last practice on Saturday will re-order you into Q2 and Q1 groups for Qualifying. Q1 being the faster half.  After both qualifying sessions are complete, they will be merged by best-time. Competitors will then be split into two Pre-Finals, Flight A and Flight B.

Pre-Final (PF)

The grids for each Pre-Final will be set as follows:
  • Top qualifier will start PF 'A' on pole
  • 2nd place qualifier will start PF 'B' on pole
  • 3rd place qualifier will start PF 'A' off pole, and so on.
The top 20 finishers from each PF will advance to the Final. The remaining drivers will make up the B Main.

Any penalties earned in the PF, will assessed in that session (including tech penalties). Please keep in mind that the way you will be lined up for the Finals means these penalties carry twice as much weight.

Finals

The grid for the Final will be set as follows: (Max of 40 competitors)
  • The fastest lap of each of the PF winners will determine the Pole/Off-Pole sides of the grid.
    • The PF winner with the fastest lap puts their group on the Pole side of the Final grid.
  • The other advancing drivers will line up on the Off-Pole side of the grid.
The grid for the B Main will be set up similar to the above, with the fastest lap of each PF winner determining which side each group starts on.
