SummerNats Track Layout Adjustment

Small item of note, there will be a subtle track change for the SummerNats at New Castle Motorsports Park - we will be adding back in the technical section shown in the illustration above. We’ve had an overwhelming request to do this by numerous #racers and we’re always eager to please. To confirm, the track will be run the week before the ProTour event by the good folks at Great Lakes PKC at their club event. This will be your opportunity to try the new configuration and test for the following weekend.

Fuel Testing at Pro Tour Springnats
Written by John Motley - National Tech Director
As many of our competitors know, we took several fuel samples at the SKUSA Pro Tour SpringNationals event in Utah last month for further testing.

The following entrants’ fuels were tested:
  • Freddie Slater #727 X30 Junior
  • Ryan Norberg #N1 X30 Senior
  • Matt Johnson #517 X30 Master
In addition to SKUSA’s own analysis, we are happy to report that the three samples submitted to the VP Fuel’s head chemist were all determined not to have any additional ingredients beyond VP C12 and the allowed lubricants.

The championships in the 12 IAME and Honda categories are more defined as the series looks toward the finale at the end of September in Lancaster. A handful of titles appear to be locked in while others have tightened up, with one more round of racing left for 2018.
