The sun rose and set for the final time on this year’s Superkarts! USA SuperNationals, and for the 19th time, history was made in the Las Vegas desert. Over 500 of the best drivers from around the world took part in the five-day event outside the Las Vegas Convention Center and the Westgate Resort & Casino, all trying to be part of the moments and excitement that occurred on SuperSunday. The stands were packed for all nine main events, with perfect racing weather throughout the entire event. Each of the three headline categories provided its own compelling story, and the excitement and drama of the other divisions completed what was a stellar day racing. Dubbed ‘Situation Saturday’, it was an all-in move for drivers Saturday as the final heat races took place for the Superkarts! USA SuperNationals XIX outside the Las Vegas Convention Center. The third round of motos for the nine categories took place, setting up the grids for the five Last Chance Qualifier races for those with more than 44 drivers in the field, which produced the final pieces for the lineup on SuperSunday. USA SuperNationals XIX presented by Evinco completed under another gorgeous day around the Las Vegas Convention Center and the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. Today completed the final preparation before the real battle began, with qualifying taking place at the end of each session for all the nine categories. The quickest speed put in by the more than 500 drivers placed them in their starting position for the three heat races taking place over Friday and Saturday, hoping for one of the grid spots on the SuperSunday grid. Today’s timed session set the tone for who is a contender, and who needs to do some work over the next two days to position themselves for a chance at victory, or a shot at the Fikse Wheels Pro Tour championship. |

It was another picture perfect day looking south at the Las Vegas Strip with the first day of racing action taking place on the Las Vegas Convention Center grounds for the Superkarts! USA SuperNationals XIX. Timed qualifying set the grids for the three rounds of heat races in the nine categories, with two rounds of racing taking place in the morning and the afternoon, leaving just one round tomorrow to reset the order to determine who moves on to SuperSunday, and who must fight there way in with the Last Chance Qualifier. The racing today was intense, with the majority of the starts average and were not the chaos we anticipated with the narrow front straight. The odds are in, and it is a wide open gamble on a number of TaG Senior drivers at SuperNationals XIX. Drama unfolds with every session for the 80+ drivers in Las Vegas, vying for every inch, every position possible to have a chance to claim the lead on SuperSunday and leave as a SuperNationals winner.
