It was another picture perfect day looking south at the Las Vegas Strip with the first day of racing action taking place on the Las Vegas Convention Center grounds for the Superkarts! USA SuperNationals XIX. Timed qualifying set the grids for the three rounds of heat races in the nine categories, with two rounds of racing taking place in the morning and the afternoon, leaving just one round tomorrow to reset the order to determine who moves on to SuperSunday, and who must fight there way in with the Last Chance Qualifier. The racing today was intense, with the majority of the starts average and were not the chaos we anticipated with the narrow front straight. SKUSA SuperNats XIX logo-2015The second day of action at the Superkarts! USA SuperNationals XIX presented by Evinco completed under another gorgeous day around the Las Vegas Convention Center and the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. Today completed the final preparation before the real battle began, with qualifying taking place at the end of each session for all the nine categories. The quickest speed put in by the more than 500 drivers placed them in their starting position for the three heat races taking place over Friday and Saturday, hoping for one of the grid spots on the SuperSunday grid. Today’s timed session set the tone for who is a contender, and who needs to do some work over the next two days to position themselves for a chance at victory, or a shot at the Fikse Wheels Pro Tour championship. |

Karting is a sport for all ages, and Superkarts! USA understands that with the offering of the Master categories since its early days. Under the latest era of SKUSA, the S4 Master Stock Moto has become a who’s who of former ProMoto Tour days and ushering in a new crop of drivers that we saw in their younger years in the early 2000s. This year’s field is stacked with talent once again, with nearly half of the 59 drivers qualifying for the 40-kart grid on SuperSunday in 2014. The Super Master division was introduced on the regional level in 2015, with 1/3 of the drivers qualified by their over 45-years of age including former SuperNationals winners. As the category progresses, Superkarts! USA is sure to be promoting and recognizing these drivers at the SuperNationals in 2015 and beyond. Read full story on eKartingNews.com |

The odds are in, and it is a wide open gamble on a number of TaG Senior drivers at SuperNationals XIX. Drama unfolds with every session for the 80+ drivers in Las Vegas, vying for every inch, every position possible to have a chance to claim the lead on SuperSunday and leave as a SuperNationals winner. There is no questioning the talent level that exists in this year’s S1 Pro Stock Moto field. Just one short of the record 30 drivers from last year, the 2015 SuperNationals field is among the best of the best from North America and around the world.
