Small item of note, there will be a subtle track change for the SummerNats at New Castle Motorsports Park - we will be adding back in the technical section shown in the illustration above. We’ve had an overwhelming request to do this by numerous #racers and we’re always eager to please. To confirm, the track will be run the week before the ProTour event by the good folks at Great Lakes PKC at their club event. This will be your opportunity to try the new configuration and test for the following weekend. |

Superkarts! USA today confirmed the long-awaited track configuration for August’s SummerNationals event. The fabled New Castle Motorsports Park will once again play host to the series finale, this time on a completely new inaugural track configuration than in years past.
“We’ve been coming to New Castle Motorsports Park for several years,” explained SKUSA’s Tom Kutscher. “While it’s truly one of the finest facilities in the country, some of our most seasoned teams and drivers were eager for a slight change. So, with that said, we’re excited to confirm we’ll be running the newly dubbed ‘SKUSA Super Mile’ configuration for the final race of the ProTour.”

Superkarts! USA today confirmed the first of their 2020 regional and national karting calendar dates, complete with some early confirmations on venues and geographic locations. The move comes on the heels of wanting to help teams and drivers make early plans for next year, and to promote cooperation between other racing organizations’ schedules.
“It’s no secret there are other places our customers can race,” remarked SKUSA’s president Tom Kutscher. “Our goal for 2020 was to confirm our dates as early as humanly possible so we could ensure as few scheduling or logistical conflicts as possible for our racers.”

The California ProKart Challenge resumed the 2019 season with the first ever two-race weekend in series history. Rounds Two and Three were held at the CalSpeed Karting facility on June 8-9 following the opening event of 2019 in Buttonwillow in March. Approximately 150 competitors navigated the ‘Tecnico’ layout under challenging-hot weather conditions each day, totaling over 300 entries for the weekend. A number of drivers were able to double up in the win column on the weekend in their respective categories, closing out the first half of the 2019 championship chase for the California PKC. Racers also made history by setting new track records in all California PKC classes on their Evinco Tires, as well as winning incredible podium and raffle prizes.
