SKUSA Winter Series

2026 Houston Jan Pit Spot Reservations

Reserving Your Pit Spot

As always, the toughest part for the SKUSA staff in organizing large events each year is laying out and fitting everyone into the pits!

This year is no different, as the 2026 Superkarts! USA Winter Series events visit the popular Speedsportz Racing Park in New Caney, TX this coming January and February.

ALL RACERS or TEAM OWNERS can do their part now by reserving the space they will need (as well as encouraging all drivers to get pre-registered for the event – before their classes cap out at 44)!

Due to the large amount of racers expected, the 300SF-per-driver rule will apply. Racers and Teams will be limited to a maximum of 300 square feet per entry. Pit requests must include a list of pre-registered drivers to be considered complete. If you know EXACTLY how much space you will need for your pit spot per the attached pit map, please email – a complete PDF drawing (NO PHOTOS WILL BE ACCEPTED) – to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Emailed pit requests will be replied to with a confirmation within 24-48 hours of receipt.

Options for Reserving Your Pit Spot

New this year, is the option to purchase your pit spaces for the entire series at once. The price of all pit spots is $1.00/SF for all spaces.

The above price is for BOTH Rounds 1&2 and 3&4.
Pit spaces for just rounds 1&2 OR 3&4 purchased individually are $.75/SF per space.

NOTE: As always, the event & class sponsors will receive priority pit spot placement, so be sure to note on your pit request if you are a sponsor, or if you'd like information on becoming one. An emailed request for sponsorship information can be sent to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

NOTE: Please tell us in your pit request if you are attending Rounds 1&2, 3&4 or both and you will be invoiced accordingly.
NOTE: Teams who wish to take advantage of the entire series pit purchase will be assigned the same space for the entire series. All sales will be final, paid in advance, and there will be no refunds, and no additions or reductions in space size for the entire series.

The paddock area will be rows of pit spots 10’W x 40’D, (BLACK numbers) and 10’W x30’D (RED numbers) so your drawing should reflect multiples of these areas. Please also specify your top 3 choices for the pit spot locations you prefer (i.e. 1-5, 219-221, etc), based on the pit map posted below. We will do our best to accommodate you.

2026 Houstin Jan Pit Map

Updated: 12/8/2025

Here are THE ITEMS TO INCLUDE ON YOUR EMAILED PIT REQUEST/DRAWING:
  • Full layout – with dimensions in feet – of your total pit area. PLEASE BE EXACT, AND DO NOT REQUEST MORE SPACE THAN YOU TRULY NEED. Remember the 300SF rule! You will NOT be able to add space when you arrive.
  • Include space for trailer tongue, pull-out generators and trailer doors (side and rear). Allow room to get the karts or other materials in and out of the doors.
  • Assume that three sides of your pit spot are fixed positions with no access other than the entrance/exit marked on your pit map. Show us how you plan on entering and exiting your pit space with your kart(s) – in relation to the pit runners shown on the map.
  • Include where tents will go, trailers, E-Z ups, VIP area, etc. NOTE: Toy Haulers will be allowed in the pits.  All other campers/RV’s will need to be parked in the designated RV area – NO Exceptions! See below for more info about overnight camping.
  • Tell us whether or not you’ll be renting a tent, bringing your own, or both (with notes on your drawing). See below for tent vendor info. Please note: your pit spot must accommodate an extra 5’ feet around your tent for the blocks (or, last resort, staking). NOTE: There is a $20 per stake repair fee for unrepaired holes – to be charged by the facility. You are responsible for these repairs.
  • Include a team name and a list of the drivers (with classes) that will be pitting in the spot. NOTE: Please send your pit map when it is absolutely final. In the event that there are multiple teams in one pit area, a designated team manager or representative must be named as the person responsible for tent and trailer placement. We will NOT park teams on site unless and until ALL trailers are present – or unless the team manager is present (this is the only exception).
  • Teams that want to guarantee they are pitted next to or near each other MUST submit their pit request as ONE COMPLETE REQUEST, together with a specific note on each section of the drawing and initialed by the person submitting the request telling us that preference. NOTE: Following this process will allow us to achieve this goal, but may reduce the ability to fulfill specific locations due to size. If this is being requested by a sponsor, the sponsor must submit the request and be responsible for paying the entire pit invoice. Again, we will do our best to accommodate.
  • Include on BOTH your drawing and the email message your contact name and best daytime contact info -- phone and email address (Mobile number, PLEASE! Not just shop number).
  • Please add a note to your pit request with your arrival date.
  • NOTE: NO passenger vehicles will be allowed in the pits, so please do not include them in your layout. Pit space is at a premium!
  • We will be in touch within 24-48 hours of your emailed request to confirm that each pit spot reservation submitted has been received. Then we will contact you and secure payment with you when we have you placed on the pit map.
  • Once you have been placed on the SKUSA pit map, an invoice will be sent to your email via TPK PROMOTIONS QuickBooks. Payments MUST be made prior to parking in the paddock. This will be strictly enforced.
