The 2015 Superkarts! USA Fikse Wheels Pro Tour SummerNationals is just around the corner, with already 225 drivers registered for the upcoming event on July 24-26 at the New Castle Motorsports Park. The popular Indiana facility will be the first stop west of the Mississippi for the organization since the inaugural SummerNationals in 2010 in Shawano, Wisconsin.
Drivers who have not yet entered and/or acquired a SKUSA racing license can do that at www.skusastore.com before the pre-registration cut-off of Sunday, July 19 at midnight. This is also the deadline to order practice tires and fuel to guarantee their products at the track. Pit spot reservations are required through Superkarts! USA for the SummerNationals event. Information regarding rental tents, camping, catering, and the pit map is available HERE. For the first time in the history of the Pro Tour, the track will be open for practice on Thursday during ‘NCMP-organized’ sessions from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. There has been an incredible buzz surrounding the 2015 Fikse Wheels Pro Tour SKUSA SummerNationals since the day that it was announced that the race would be held at the popular New Castle Motorsports Park in Indiana. The top-notch facility is on the racing ‘bucket list’ for many West Coast competitors, and high interest was quickly received from East Coast drivers who have not yet had the chance to sample national level SKUSA racing. Add in the excitement of the CBS Sports Network coverage, and the entry numbers for the most popular category in American karting – TaG Senior – have gone through the roof. The class quickly sold out to the cap of 44 drivers, and with numerous racers filing their intent to enter by getting on the wait list, Superkarts! USA has elected to open the class to an amazing 88 entries. This will be the largest TaG Senior race of the year held thus far in 2015. To complete the invitation to race, SKUSA has decided to also lift the cap on the TaG Cadet class to meet the growing demand of racers that have caused that class to max out at 44, as well.

As the calendar flips yet another page into the month of July, the countdown is now on for the second round of the Superkarts! USA Fikse Wheels Pro Tour. The sixth annual SKUSA SummerNationals will take place in just 22 days, as over 200 of the finest drivers in the country are expected to descend on New Castle Motorsports Park for the July 24-26 weekend event. Registration has been open for just two weeks, and classes are already filling up and SKUSA is now on to its third host hotel. The race has the potential to be the largest Pro Tour event in the history of the series, as SKUSA heads east of the Mississippi for the first time since the debut season in 2010.

It was another large turnout for Superkarts! USA at the opening event of the 2015 Fikse Wheels Pro Tour in early May at the Phoenix Kart Racing Association. Competitors from all over North America and from all points of the globe traveled to the Glendale, Arizona facility to take part in the sixth annual SKUSA SpringNationals. The first two rounds of the championship were put into the record books, as drivers began their quest for a piece of the more than $150,000 prize package – the largest ever offered by Superkarts! USA. Greenlight International produced the first two episodes of Fikse Wheels Pro Tour television coverage, featured on CBS Sports Network and available online through MotorTrendOnDemand.com powered by Torque.TV, viewed by thousands all over the world.
