SKUSA RETURNS TO MUSSELMAN HONDA CIRCUIT WITH PRE-ENTRY OPENING TODAY AT 12 NOON

Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) is set to return to the renowned Musselman Honda Circuit in Tucson, Arizona, having last visited the track 15 years ago. Back in 2011, the likes of Colton Herta, Sabré Cook, Daniel Bray, and Fritz Leesmann fought for bragging rights. This year, the SKUSA ProTour WinterNationals returns to the desert and the newly paved facility to do it all again.

Pre-entry opens today, Monday, February 23, 2026, at 12:00 PM Pacific Time. Following news of the collaboration with ROTAX, anticipation is building for what is expected to be one of the largest and most competitive gatherings of kart racers in North America.

With record participation projected across multiple weekends, SKUSA officials strongly encourage competitors to secure their entries early. Several classes are expected to sell out. Once capacity is reached, additional entries will not be accepted. Drivers and teams who want to guarantee their position on the grid should complete pre-registration as soon as it opens.

In preparation for the event, SKUSA is implementing several important policies to ensure a safe and efficient race weekend for all participants.


Practice Cutoff Policy
Beginning March 9, there will be a hard end to open practice at Musselman Honda Circuit. No further private or open practice sessions will be permitted at the facility prior to the official start of competition activities. This measure is designed to create a level playing field for all competitors and protect the integrity of the event. Teams and drivers are expected to plan accordingly.

Pit Area Regulations
To maintain safety and manage the anticipated record turnout:
  • No bicycles or motorized vehicles (including scooters, pit bikes, or similar equipment) will be allowed in the pit areas at any time during the event weekend.
  • Due to high entry numbers, auxiliary pit space will be utilized. Some teams will be assigned pit areas located a distance from the pre-grid and grid areas.
  • SKUSA will provide golf cart assistance to support competitors, crew members, and family members who may have difficulty walking longer distances between pit areas and the grid.
These measures are designed to streamline operations, improve safety, and ensure that all competitors have a professional and organized event experience.

Musselman Honda Circuit has long been regarded as one of the premier karting facilities in the country, offering technical challenges and race-winning opportunities that consistently produce dramatic competition. With SKUSA’s national-level production standards and the expected depth of talent in every category, the 2026 WinterNationals promises to deliver elite-level racing from start to finish.
