EKN has learned that Superkarts! USA will be announcing the date for the eleventh edition of Superkarts! USA SuperNationals at this weekend’s ProKart Challenge event at the CalSpeed Karting Center. SuperNationals XI is set for November 14-18, 2007 in fabulous Las Vegas, NV, with the exact location of the race to be announced at a later date.

In speaking with SKUSA Marketing Director Jim Baltutis, participants will enjoy an additional day of racing; meaning official practice now begins the morning of Wednesday, November 14. As in 2006, the final practice will perhaps again determine qualifying groups for on track race activity on Thursday, November 15. Racing action will conclude late in the day November 18.

Superkarts! USA will also be releasing the host hotel and rate as soon as next week along with additional information and the launch of a new race central for all SuperNationals action - skusasupernats.com.

Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) has announced the creation of a new national gearbox based class for drivers’ ages 12-15 years old. The class, Junior Spec 125, will be known officially as S5 Junior and is designed to ease a young driver into the sport of shifter kart racing with minimal cost as they progress in age and ability.
