TaG Senior Winner Going to Brazil

MG Tires and Superkarts! USA will award a free trip to Brazil to the winner of the TaG Senior class at SuperNationals X.  The winner will compete in the 500 mile Granja Viana race on a team comprised of North American drivers (to be announced).  The winner must be 18 and be able to commit to the trip after the race-otherwise the next eligible driver will be awarded the prize.  The North American team departs November 27, 2006 and will return on December 3 and the winner should have a valid passport to make the trip.

TaG Senior - Hearn Motorsports Award

Richie Hearn and his Hearn Motorsports Formula BMW team will also be present during SuperNationals X weekend to award the TaG Senior winner with a full day Formula BMW test, which is approximately 100 miles of driving at Buttonwillow Raceway in Southern California on one of the following dates:

Crawford MotorSport - Driver Recognition Award

All Supernationals X drivers will be happy to know that Michael Crawford, owner of Michael Crawford Motorsports, and Superkarts! USA is pleased to announce the creation of a new driver recognition award at the 2006 SuperNationals. One driver will be awarded the chance for an oval rookie test in an Indy Racing League Indy Pro Series car. The lucky driver could come from any class- and will be based on an overall impression that driver makes on the team–both in driving ability, and character.

Elliott Returns to SuperNationals

After rumors have floated around the paddocks and internet forums, EKN has confirmed that 1998 SKUSA SuperNationals winner Darren Elliott will compete in SuperNationals X, to be held at Sam Boyd Stadium November 9-12. The Californian hung up the karting helmet two weeks before last year’s event, missing his first SKUSA SuperNationals in the event’s nine year history.  Click here for full story on EKN
 
Kyle Martin Tunes Up for SuperNats

Last week, Trackmagic Racing was joined by Kyle Martin and his father Richard for three days of intense testing on the new ’07 FTR chassis. During two days at Infineon Raceway and one day at Dixon, Andrew Alfonso, Brian Bartolero, and the Martin’s faced a couple obstacles, but left with an overall feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment.
