San Diego based FX Racing is set to take on the SKUSA SuperNationals X with new partner Monster Energy. An active supporter of action sports athletes, Monster Energy is primed to make an impact in kart racing.In the headlining SuperPro class, FX Racing’s partner Trackmagic will have driver Kyle Martin energized with Monster. Trackmagic and Martin have been working hard on the ’07 FTR chassis and are positioned to be a major player in this year’s event. |

With many former winners and major league names returning for the tenth edition of the SKUSA SuperNationals, presented this year by BC Ethic and set to run on November 9-12 at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, EKN has learned that Italian Motors’ Michael Valiante is throwing in his bid at the $20,000 SuperPro purse and the $10k first place check. The Vancouver, BC resident will be representing the Italian-based Italkart chassis manufacturer while running under the Italian Motors tent for this event. Read full story on EKN. |

MG Tires and Superkarts! USA will award a free trip to Brazil to the winner of the TaG Senior class at SuperNationals X. The winner will compete in the 500 mile Granja Viana race on a team comprised of North American drivers (to be announced). The winner must be 18 and be able to commit to the trip after the race-otherwise the next eligible driver will be awarded the prize. The North American team departs November 27, 2006 and will return on December 3 and the winner should have a valid passport to make the trip. |

All Supernationals X drivers will be happy to know that Michael Crawford, owner of Michael Crawford Motorsports, and Superkarts! USA is pleased to announce the creation of a new driver recognition award at the 2006 SuperNationals. One driver will be awarded the chance for an oval rookie test in an Indy Racing League Indy Pro Series car. The lucky driver could come from any class- and will be based on an overall impression that driver makes on the team–both in driving ability, and character. |
