As a result of overwhelming demand, Superkarts!USA has elected to increase the TaG Senior class entry cap to 80 participants. The class will run a 4-flight elimination format throughout the race weekend (see the event schedule for additional information), echoing the previously announced SuperPro class format. “Increasing the entry cap in TaG Senior was something we have been looking closely at doing since we participated in the Rock Island Grand Prix a few weeks ago” says Superkarts!USA CEO Tom Kutscher, adding “we saw the amazing turn out for the class there and correctly assumed we’d see the same sort of demand for our race.” Director Of Marketing Jim Baltutis says, “Some of the top drivers in the world are already confirmed to run in the class, and the entries keep pouring in. We felt the opportunity should be extended to others to enter as well, so we raised the cap.” No cap raises are possible in any additional classes—and all classes are now nearing capacity. Baltutis adds, “Raising the entry cap really opened the door for the TaG class to grow and the growth suggests the strength of the TaG program and the SuperNationals internationally. It’ll be a race to remember, that’s for sure.” |
