SKUSA SuperNationals XVII Registration Opens to Public on August 1 |
Monday, 29 July 2013 09:51 |
![]() Superkarts! USA and its racers are just 114 days away from the opening on-track sessions of the 17th annual SKUSA SuperNationals in Las Vegas, NV. As it has for the last four years, the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino will play host to SKUSA’s best pilots on the November 20-24 weekend, and this year’s race promises to be the biggest ever, with available openings for 600 competitors. A total of 11 classes are on the docket for this year – including SKUSA’s core Stock Moto and TaG classes, along with KZ2, Rotax Junior, and DD2 – and it’s time to open registration to allow racers to secure their position in the biggest race of the year. Registration for the race will begin at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time on Thursday, August 1 at www.superkartsusa.com. SKUSA racers and customers who ran in all of their regional ProKart Challenge events before July 1, or ran in the Pro Tour SpringNationals and were registered for the SummerNationals by July 1, were given the unique opportunity of entering early as part of the SuperNationals Priority Pre-Entry Program, which has just been completed. With those racers now entered and looking forward to November, SKUSA is preparing to open the online registration to the public so that they can lay claim to the spots that remain available. SKUSA is expecting a mass influx of entries all day on Thursday, and with class caps set in all of the categories, racers are urged to enter as soon as possible so that they don’t miss out on the opportunity to be part of the action. SKUSA’s core classes will be front and center, with four offerings in Stock Moto (S1, S2, S4 and S5) and four in TaG (Senior, Master, Junior and Cadet). The international gearbox category – KZ2 – will return once again to run for a major league purse, and SKUSA has also partnered with the Rotax community to commemorate the running of the Rotax Grand Finals in the United States for the first time, offering a class for Rotax Junior and a combined DD2/ DD2 Masters race group, both of which will provide the first opportunity for Rotax drivers to earn a total of 3 tickets to the 2014 Rotax Grand Finals.
