SuperNationals 20 Opens X30 Master Registration Cap to 88 Drivers

SKUSA SuperNats 20 logoThe first category to sell out for the upcoming Superkarts! USA SuperNationals 20 presented by VCI Mexico / GP Racing Kart was the X30 Master division. All 44 spots were claimed during the Priority Pre-Entry Program and in less than 30 minutes after registration opened to the public on August 10. SKUSA began taking names for a wait list, which has grown considerably in the last three weeks, for those looking to take any spots that become available for the November 16-20 event at the Las Vegas Convention Center.


Since 2008, the TaG Master division has sold out for the SuperNationals, and the X30 Master class this season has seen significant growth at both the regional and national levels. These factors have now led Superkarts! USA to change the entry cap for X30 Master to 88, taking away the extra spots for the S2 Semi-Pro Stock Moto division to lower that category down to 44. Less than a dozen spots remain open in the S2 division currently, and it is encouraged for those racers to entry quickly before they become unavailable.

“With so many X30 Masters on the wait list, and slower entries in S2, we have decided to make this change for 2016,” stated Superkarts! USA CEO Tom Kutscher. “The growth of the X30 Master division this season has allowed us to make the change. With that, one of the classes has to give up a race group spot and this year its S2. The S2 drivers that are not yet entered need to get in now! We are only going to 44, then that class will begin a wait list, and we are not planning to open it back up to 88.”

X30 Master drivers currently on the wait list have already been contacted by the SKUSA office and can submit their entries immediately. Those not on the wait list who are interested in becoming part of the historic SuperNationals 20 event can head over to skusastore.com to register, as well.

The Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino serves as the host hotel for SKUSA SuperNationals 20. Just a five-minute walk from the lobby area to the paddock, the Westgate is again providing three beautifully remodeled styles of rooms under the Superkarts! USA special room rate. Premium Rooms are $79+tax/night, Signature Rooms are $99+tax/night, and Concierge Rooms are $164+tax/night. The cut-off date is October 11 to book these rooms under the special SKUSA pricing — unless they sell out first.
