It’s with heavy hearts that the Kutscher family and Superkarts! USA must announce that there will be no replacement event for SuperNationals 24 this year. “My team has been working tirelessly, pursuing multiple venues and trying to acquire the necessary permits and approval to host an event in a different location that would still be comparable to a 2020 SuperNationals in Las Vegas,” explained SKUSA owner Tom Kutscher. “In the end, with the fluctuating COVID restrictions and guidelines, it is just impossible to hold an event that would do SKUSA, its teams and competitors, and its world-wide base of loyal supporters justice.” “Regrettably, all options have now been exhausted, and given the timeframe, budget constraints, and uncertainty surrounding the approach of the winter season, SKUSA is not willing to risk another shutdown, or worse yet – risk contributing to the spread of this inexplicable disease.” In light of this sad news, SKUSA will recharge and regroup for a strong 2021 – with plans to begin the new racing season in Miami, Florida with the SKUSA Winter Series. In the interim, the SKUSA team will be hosting the 2020 IKF Sprint GrandNationals on October 23-25 at the Santa Maria Karting Association in Santa Maria, CA.
