Official Highlight Video of National Guard SuperNationals XII
Tuesday, 31 March 2009 11:38
In what many are calling one of the largest, most epic kart races on North American soil – the 12th annual National Guard SuperNationals was arguably the best SuperNats ever. With an international field of competitors and unprecedented levels of prizes and promotion – the race underscored the potential of elevating karting to mainstream awareness.

Though the race is long over, SKUSA has partnered with polepositionproductions.com to release an official highlight video documenting the historic weekend. After several weeks of editing and compiling the footage, both parties are proud to debut the finished piece:

The video is also available for download, free of charge, allowing anyone with interest to archive a copy of the video. Its universal MPG video format lets viewers watch the clips on a myriad of devices – including, iPods, iPhones, XBOX’s, AppleTV’s, or just about any other medium.

“It’s about getting the awareness out there,” commented SKUSA CEO Tom Kutscher. “Everyone talks about awareness, but someone has to take the bull by the horns and show people what we’re doing.” The free video is also easily linked, embedded, and shared via free web video web sites. “Basically we’re not only allowing people to share or download it, we’re encouraging it,” added an elated Kutscher.

While official announcements of the 2009 SuperNationals have yet to be made, the excitement is already building in the SKUSA offices. With the 2008 race video now available, that anticipation is expected to build feverishly.
