Superkarts! USA in expansion mode with new series to debut

FONTANA, CA (March 20, 2008) – The 2008 season is expected to be a very exciting one for the growing Superkarts! USA organization, which will take a number of major steps forward in re-releasing the brand onto the American karting community. The new ownership of Tom and Patti Kutscher have been busy in the off-season laying out plans to expand their program, using their ultra-successful ProKart Challenge (PKC) model to pull the cover off of three new regional series in ’08. As the flagship series under the SKUSA banner, the ProKart Challenge will kick off its new season on the March 28-29 weekend at the CalSpeed karting facility, which is located just outside the track walls of Auto Club Speedway (formerly California Speedway) in Fontana, California.  Once again delivering the best in shifterkart and TaG sprint racing, the PKC has a handful of new announcements to make as well, including a brand new website and minimum age adjustments in G1 and TaG Masters.

PKC Brings Back the Friday Night BBQ!
Tuesday, 18 March 2008 15:13
Back by popular demand, Tom Kutscher has announced that ProKart Challenge will be hosting a complimentary Friday night dinner at CalSpeed on March 28th for racers and their crews that are either staying locally for the night or wanting to wait out the Friday night traffic. Only drivers that paid for Friday's practice (and their guests that purchased pit passes) will be enjoying the free food, which this time will be pasta and salad. "I really wanted to show the guys that I appreciate their business, and we really enjoy hanging out together after a great day of practice on track," explains Kutscher. "Don't forget to bring your own drinks, and a hearty appetite! I'm hoping to be able to do this for all of our races this season, including Nor Cal."

ProKart Challenge has also booked their favorite new So Cal caterer, House of Spice Catering, to provide some great trackside food at a great price during the day on both Friday and Saturday. Please give them your business.

ProKart Challenge Launches New Website
Sunday, 16 March 2008 22:44
Since the beginning of the year, the staff here at ProKart Challenge has been busy working on an entirely new website.  We had several goals in mind, first of which was to streamline the race entry process.  You can now view all details of an event on a single page and enter the event from that same page.  Our second goal was to make site navigation more straightforward and to organize the information in a way that made more sense.  We think we've accomplished these goals.

This new website was completely rebuilt from the ground up using a true Content Management System (CMS).  It's also sporting a brand new design from Chris Ortenburger at Eyenovation Multimedia: www.eyenovation.com .  The CMS will allow us to combine all of our properties into one central management interface. What this means for you is more timely updates and postings.

Perhaps in the future we can enable features that will allow you to have your own webpages and/or blogs.  We will be launching the ProKart Challenge NorCal site shortly.  A new SuperKarts! USA corporate site will follow, and then a brand new SuperNationals site in preparation for the biggest race of the year.

We hope you like the changes and welcome any comments.

Enjoy!
