The 2025 season concluded for the ProKart Challenge following the action on October 11-12 at the K1 Circuit. The Winchester, California facility welcomed the Superkarts! USA regional program to close out its 21st season. A total of 161 entries battled around the 1.1-mile ‘Pro Track’ course for the sixth and final round of the 2025 championship.

The Formula Works KA100 Senior class featured a field of 41 drivers. Archer Eversman claimed his first top qualifier honor of the season, laying down a 1:03.510 lap. The session was so close, the top seven were within 72 thousandths, while the top 34 drivers were all within four tenths. Eversman led the first four laps of the Prefinal before Frankie Mossman took a turn – until Jake Drew advanced his way forward, taking the win. The 18-lap Final began with Drew leading the first lap before five-time race winner Keagan Kaminski worked his way up from qualifying outside the top 30 and into the lead by lap two. He led four laps before Drew returned back to the point. While Drew led, contact on lap 13 between Kaminski and Calvo took them out of the race, promoting Mossman and Shea Aldrich as the top challengers. Two laps later, Aldrich went from third to first. Leading the final two laps, Aldrich held on through the final corners to claim his first victory of the season. Jackson Menchu and Gavin McCune were able to slip by Mossman for second and third on the podium. Gerardo Peralta finished fifth for a best finish on the season.

The final two days of the Superkarts! USA SuperNationals 28 will go down in history as one of the most unique events over its span of decades. Saturday outside the Las Vegas Motor Speedway brought rain weather into the mix following the morning group final round of heat races, beginning with the Last Chance Qualifiers. Three heat races in the afternoon grouping of classes were conducted before a red flag in the opening heat for Pro X30 forced a stoppage in racing, and eventually a postponement of the final four runs including that class and Pro Shifter. SuperSunday will feature, for the first time, four different heat races and their Last Chance Qualifiers before going into the main events to decide this year’s SuperNationals winners on Sunday. EKN Trackside: 2026 Superkarts! USA Pro Tour WinterNationals – Saturday Report

The 17th season of the Superkarts! USA Pro Tour kicked into high gear on Saturday at the Musselman Honda Circuit in Tucson, AZ, and the action was just as exciting as anyone would have expected to start the new season. MPG Motorsports’ Joe Turney (Alonso Kart) made his return to SKUSA’s national series after two seasons away and the 2023 Pro X30 champion didn’t skip a beat as he came out on top of a quality battle with Brandon Jarsocrak Racing’s Pauly Massimino (LN Kart) to win the open round of the year. Massimino had already tasted victory on the day, emerging from the mid-race chaos in KA100 Senior to score a dominant win at the end of the 22-lap final. Maranello USA’s Marijn Kremers scored two runner-up results in the heat races to lock down the pole position for Sunday’s Prefinal in Pro Shifter.

Turney started off the event with fast time in qualifying for the Nash Motorsportz Pro X30 category with a lap of 49.692 to clear the 42 driver field by just over a tenth. Qualifying fifth, Pauly Massimino had the quickest pace of the 10-lap Prefinal, working his way into the lead and taking the win by over three tenths ahead of Turney. Three British drivers Oliver Hodgson (Factory Karts), Gus Lawrence (RPG / Kosmic) and Sean Butcher (RPG / Kosmic) made up the top five. The 22-lap Final began with Lawrence getting pushed wide in turn one, and falling all the way back to 23rd after completing the opening lap. The opening couple of laps saw lots of contact that shuffled up the order. Keagan Kaminski (FW / GFC) sent it into turn 11 and as a result took out both Butcher and SummerNationals winner Diego Ramos (PSL / Birelart). A few laps later more contact in the top 10 as Jake Drew (GFC Karting) and Ayden Ingratta (REM / Kosmic) locked up together in turn four. All this allowed Massimino to pull away early until eventually Turney got into second and ran down the SKUSA Winter Series winner. Turney went to the lead right away after catching Massimino and the two were able to maintain a solid lead. Massimino made his move for the lead on lap 15 and worked to keep Turney back. It wasn’t until two laps remaining that Turney went back to the lead. On the final lap, Massimino appeared to set up a move for turn five but a yellow flag was out, and he pulled back. Turney went defensive down the backstraight and Massimino nearly pulled the over under as the two made contact in the final corner. They both got through and Turney reached the line first for his first SKUSA Pro Tour victory since 2023 SummerNationals. Massimino settled for second with Hodgson coming across the line in third. He however had lost all the water in the radiator after damage from early contact and came in just under the minimum weight. Lawrence had the quickest pace all race and with all the action taking place in front of him after getting shuffled back at the start, clawed his way up to the fourth spot at the line and was promoted to third after the DQ for Hodgson. Macy Williams (SCR / CS55) was in the fifth spot behind Lawrence until contact between she and Nico Sarphati (GFC Karting). This allowed Davin Roberts (RPM / Tony Kart) to take the position and promoted to fourth with Jesus Vasquez Jr. (GFC Karting) up from 21st to crossing the line behind Roberts. He however was penalized multiple times for contact, promoting Senior rookie Alexander Vanchev (RPG / Kosmic) to fifth.

EKN Trackside: 2026 Superkarts! USA Winter Series – Speedsportz 2 – Saturday Report

Alexander Vanchev claimed his first Pro X30 victory (Photo: EKN)

The penultimate round of the 2026 Superkarts! USA Winter Series was completed on Saturday at the Speedsportz Racing Park in New Caney, Texas. The day was full of changing weather conditions, with a wet track to start before it dried by the second Prefinal on the day. The same KA100 Senior category then experienced the return of rain, which kept the track dry for the remainder of the main events. Two drivers were able to double up on the day, featuring Alexander Vanchev grabbing both single speed Senior category victories while Nico Kotowski swept the Junior main events on the day.

The Pro X30 presented by Kart CRG USA began on a wet track for qualifying with Brazilian Diego Ramos (PSL / Birelart) the only driver to dip into the 1:03 lap time mark. He edged out Round One winner Oliver Hodgson (Factory Karts) – who rebuilt his machine after a Happy Hour wreck Friday afternoon. Canadian Ayden Ingratta (REM / Kosmic) – who was quickest in Happy Hour – was third with Alexander Vanchev (RPG / Kosmic) in fourth. At the start of the 10-lap Prefinal on a dry track and new dry Evinco Tires, Ingratta was spun around and suffered front end damage to retire, forced to start the Final from 26th. Up front, Ramos was able to get away to a comfortable win ahead of Hodgson with Gus Lawrence (RPG / Kosmic) up to third over Vanchev. Ramos and Hodgson were the first two leaders in the early portion of the Final until Vanchev took over the top spot on lap seven. From there, the Senior rookie established over a two second advantage on the west track to claim his first career Pro X30 victory. Hodgson ran second with Ramos completing the podium in third. Ingratta had an amazing drive from the tail of the field on wet tires, knifing his way up to the fourth spot on track but suffered a cut track penalty, docking him five seconds and moving Lawrence above him to fourth. Hodgson remains the championship leader, holding a 70-point advantage now over Vanchev with Lawrence sitting third, 80 points back.
