2026 NCMP Pit Spot Reservations

TEAMS & RACERS! PLEASE READ THIS COMPLETELY – AS RESERVING YOU PIT SPACES HAS CHANGED!

As always, the toughest part for the SKUSA staff in organizing large events each year is pit layout and fitting everyone into the paddock! This year is even tougher, as our SummerNationals and RMC events at New Castle Motorsports Park in New Castle run back-to-back. ALL RACERS or TEAM OWNERS can do their part now by reserving the space they will need for one or both events (as well as encouraging all drivers to get pre-registered for the event -- before their classes cap out).

If you know EXACTLY how much space you will need for your pit spot, please email a complete PDF drawing (no jpg photos, please) to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Emailed pit requests will be replied to with a confirmation upon receipt from Stan.

The prices of all pit and RV spots are as follows:
  • $.75/SF for pit spaces 1-218 (BLUE NUMBERS)
    • NOTE: Absolutely NO RVs in pits 1-114 - Toy Haulers allowed
  • $.60/SF for spaces 219-328 (RED NUMBERS)
  • $300 for RV spaces RV-1 to RV-5 (20x40’, no hookups – see map, left side)
  • $150 to Camp in your Toy Hauler/Trailer –(min 2 spaces needed to accommodate your Toy Hauler) PLUS the pit space cost
  • $25 for trailer storage within the facility
  • ALL the above pricing is per event week.
The above prices are for your stay on site for the week of SummerNationals only (7/21 thru 7/26) or the week of the RMC event (7/28 thru 8/2). The prices will be double to stay for BOTH events. For the cost of pit spots and all RV spaces for events prior to 7/21 or after 8/2, please contact New Castle Motorsports Park for additional information. However:

For those of you who wish to stay for the RMC event, please indicate this on your request, as there is that separate charge for the second week. (7/27 thru 8/2).
  • For those who choose to attend any testing or practice the weekend before the SummerNats, SKUSA will work with New Castle Motorsports Park to do their best to assure you have the same space for the time you are there. Obviously, this requires you to submit your pit request early, and with this request in writing, in order to be accommodated. Pit and/or RV space requests received after 7/14 may not be able to reserve the same space for both events and will be expected to move to a designated staging area for pitting starting on or before 7/19. NO EXCEPTIONS!
  • Teams/Racers who choose to stay for the RMC event need to do the same. We will do our best to accommodate you to remain in the same space – providing we have enough advanced notice.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: PLEASE READ

TEAMS WHO ARE ATTENDING BOTH EVENTS have the option of expanding or reducing their pit space.

However, this requires planning ahead. For teams to make this event adjustment, we will need two separate pit requests. Once a pit request has been submitted for both events, no adjustments can be made, and all sales are FINAL.

Deadline for any pit space adjustment for the RMC event is 7/21. Cancellations or reductions in pit space after this date is subject to a $50 per space cancellation fee.

NOTE: As always, the event and class sponsors will receive priority pit spot placement.

Superkarts! USA and New Castle Motorsports Park will do everything possible to assure that you can retain your space for your entire stay. However, there are NO GUARANTEES.

The paddock area will be rows of pit spots 10’W x 40’D and 10W’ x 30’D, so your drawing should reflect multiples of these areas. Please also specify your top 3 choices for the pit spot locations you prefer (i.e., 23-27, 133-136, etc), based on the pit map posted below. We will do our best to accommodate you.

alt 2026 SummerNats Pit Map
Updated 6/26/2025

Here are THE ITEMS TO INCLUDE ON YOUR PIT REQUEST DRAWING:
  • Full layout – with dimensions in feet – of your total pit area. PLEASE BE EXACT, AND DO NOT REQUEST MORE SPACE THAN YOU TRULY NEED. You will probably NOT be able to add space when you arrive. NOTE: The only electrical outlets active in the pits for this event will be spaces RVE-1 thru RVE-30. NO EXCEPTIONS!
  • Include space for trailer tongue, pull out generators and trailer doors (side and rear). Allow room to get the karts or other materials in and out of the doors.
  • Assume that three sides of your pit spot are fixed positions with no access. Show us how you plan on entering and exiting your pit space with your kart(s) – in relation to the pit runners shown on the map.
  • Include where tents will go, trailers, E-Z ups, VIP area, etc. NOTE: Toy Haulers will be allowed in the pits; however, if you are camping in it, a $150 camping fee will be charged in addition to the cost of the pit space. All other campers/RV’s will need to be parked in the designated RV areas – NO Exceptions! See below for more info about overnight camping.
  • Tell us whether or not you’ll be renting a tent, bringing your own, or both (with notes on your drawing). See below for vendor info. Please note: your pit spot must accommodate an extra 5’ feet around your tent for the stakes.
    • NOTE: a 20x20’ tent does not fit in a 20x20’ space, allow room for the way you will secure it. Also, the generator or air conditioner you rented does not reside in the fire lane behind your pit space. Your slide-out generator, exhaust pipe, and trailer doors all must be contained within your designated pit space!
  • Include a team name and a list of the drivers that will be pitting in the spot. NOTE: Please send your pit map when it is absolutely final. All drivers MUST be registered for the race before SKUSA will confirm your pit spot location. In the event that there are multiple teams in one pit area, a designated team manager/ representative must be named as the person responsible for tent and trailer placement. We will NOT park teams on site unless and until ALL trailers are present -- or unless the team manager is present (this is the only exception).
  • Teams that want to guarantee they are pitted next to or near each other MUST submit their pit request as ONE COMPLETE REQUEST to SKUSA - all together with a specific note on each section of the drawing, initialed by person submitting the request telling us that preference. NOTE: Following this process will allow us to achieve this goal, but may reduce the ability to fulfill specific locations due to size. If this is being requested by a sponsor, the sponsor must submit the request and be responsible for the entire pit invoice. We will do our best to accommodate.
  • Include on BOTH your drawing and the email message your contact name and best daytime contact info -- phone and email address (mobile number, PLEASE! Not just shop number).
  • Please add a note to your pit request with your arrival date.
  • NOTE: NO passenger vehicles will be allowed in the pits, so please do not include them in your layout. Pit space is at a premium!
  • However, VIP parking will be available to sponsors (2 vehicles per team). Passes can be obtained at the time you are parked. See Stan.
We will be in touch within 24-48 hours of your emailed request to confirm that each pit spot reservation submitted has been received. Then we will contact you and secure payment with you via emailed invoice when we have you placed on the pit map.

Tents

The EXCLUSIVE rental tent vendor for this event will be Dustin Dishman. Call (317) 223-7965 to get tent options, pricing and to make arrangements. Their estimated tent price is approx. $.60/SF for tent canopies, and approx. $1/LF for walls. An additional fee for set-up may be required by the tent company, so talk directly to them about your tent needs. NOTE: You will want to confirm your pit size and location with the SKUSA office prior to finalizing your tent rental, although it’s a good idea to check tent availability, space requirements and pricing right away in order to submit the most accurate pit layout. THEY ARE ALSO THE EXCLUSIVE VENDOR FOR RENTAL ITEMS LIKE TABLES, CHAIRS, AND FLOORING FOR YOUR PIT SPOT. Please contact them immediately with any needs for these items.

Rental Equipment

Teams who choose to rent ANY other items (for example, generators or air conditioners) must include this information with the pit request – or an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it when booked. Company name and a copy of the company’s certificate of insurance must be provided to Stan prior to any equipment being delivered/installed.

Exclusive Food Concessions & Catering

In the New Castle tradition to continue to improve the facility, this year is without exception. A complete and expansive addition to the Racer’s Grill has now enabled the facility to accommodate a complete catering service for teams along with the normal walk-up orders – which also now includes fresh baked pizza! The Racer’s Grill will be serving breakfast and lunch for both events. For teams who wish to arrange to have meals catered in their tent for their team, call Esteina at: 317-462-3413 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Advanced orders are highly recommended.

Strict Fire Codes

SKUSA has strict rules regarding fire extinguishers and fuel for this event. All pits must have a fire extinguisher – one for every 400SF of pit area (min 5lbs, type ABC) – that is visible and accessible at all times. SKUSA also require a 20-lb fire extinguisher for each trailer over 20-ft in length.

NO fuel is allowed to be brought into this event (except a small amount of generator fuel, no more than 5 gallons per trailer). All race and practice fuel and oil will need to be purchased from New Castle Motorsports Park on site. All trailers will be inspected prior to pit placement to assure compliance.

Schedule

Pit move-in for the SummerNats will be handled per the schedule posted and must be completed by the end of the day Wednesday 7/22, as unofficial practice starts Thursday morning 7/23 at 10:00am. Some teams may arrange to park early, if in town for testing or racing prior. Again, please add a note to your pit request with your arrival date. Move-out will begin Sunday night 7/26 after the final CHECKERED FLAG, but preferably after the final podium presentation. All trailers/teams attending the SKUSA SummerNationals only will need to be out of the pits by end of day Monday 7/27. Rental tent tear-down: Monday, 7/27.

Pit move in for the RMC event will begin Tuesday 7/28 and must be completed by 7/29 at 10:00am. Move-out will begin Sunday night 8/2. All trailers will need to be out of the pits by end of the day Monday 8/3.

Trailer Storage

If you have a trailer that will be used for transporting karts and equipment only, and does not need to be parked inside of the pit area, there will be a $25 fee per event (to SKUSA) to store it in a secured outer lot of this facility. Please add that note to your pit spot request to give SKUSA advanced notice. (Garage customers excluded.)

See you in New Castle!
