Cameron Motorsports/CRG will look to add one more chapter to what has already been an incredibly successful season this weekend when it takes to the track in the biggest show in North American kart racing - SKUSA SuperNationals XII. Laying rubber on the Las Vegas strip in front of the Rio Hotel and Casino will be a six-man team spread across three classes: Michael Vincec, Curtis Fox, Miles Maroney, Scott Saunders, Cameron Hogg and Reid Arnold. With his eyes now set on Las Vegas and a chance to add another win to his record, two-time Stars of Karting Junior Intercontinental A (JICA) vice-champion Gustavo Menezes is closing in on the end of a long and busy season that saw him log thousands of air miles traveling around the world to compete in international karting. The 14-year old will now make the short journey from his California home to Las Vegas, Nevada to compete in the 12th annual National Guard Superkarts! USA SuperNationals, the biggest karting event in this country. A former winner at the race in the K3 (Cadet Shifter) category in 2003 and 2004, Menezes will look to add a third victory at the SuperNats to join names like Scott Speed and Michael Valiante near the top of the all-time winners list. Arrow Racing Karts along with Select Shifter are ready to take the 12th annual SKUSA SuperNationals by storm this weekend. Mike Robbins, team principal of Select Shifter, will lead a pack of determined pilots to the finish line hoping to capture several championships. Under the tent in S3 Light, Arrow will have five experienced drivers, including the top three point’s champions in ProKart Challenge South – Bobby Legate, Patrick Cushenberry and Clinton Schoombee. SYAR Motorsport California in conjunction with ENERGY Corse Italy have brought out some substantial artillery for the 2008 Super Nationals -to be held at the RIO Hotel in Las Vegas Nevada November 19 thru 23.

Headlining the driver roster of the Syar Motorsport Factory ENERGY team will be the 2008 CIK-FIA European Champion in ICC category- Factory ENERGY pilot Tony LAVANANT of France. Lavanant has been climbing the intense French and Euro driving ranks for several years, but joined Mick Panigadas ENERGY Corse team in 2006 and has since not only won multiple Championship Podiums in 07 -Lavanant was crowned the 2008 ICC KZ2 European Champion. History is in the making this week at the 12th annual National Guard Superkarts! USA SuperNationals. Along with the return to the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, the total entry counts are over 400, the most ever for the event. Along with just the location and sheer numbers making history, the driver line-ups are making this one of the most anticipated events in karting history.

Over the next three days, eKartingNews.com will preview all ten classes, split up accordingly. The first day, the three Junior divisions will be under the microscope to point out the early favorites heading into Vegas. The second day will be the Senior support classes, from S1 to TaG Masters. The headline SuperPro division and the TaG Senior class, boasting 100 entries, will be examined thoroughly to point out the big names returning to their karting roots and those making the long journey across the pond from Europe.
