Skusa Announces Contingency Partnership With Fittipaldi Wheels For Inaugural Skusa Winter Series
Wednesday, 10 January 2018 21:27

Superkarts! USA today announced an exciting partnership and contingency prize package in partnership with 2x F1 World Champion and 2x Indy 500 champion, Emerson Fittipaldi. The promotion will see SKUSA partner with the Brazilian superstar’s signature forged wheel line, Fittipaldi Wheels, to see (2) sets given away to SKUSA Winter Series pro class champions.

The ever popular IAME X30 senior class and the Honda shifter S1 class champions will both receive their choice of (1) set of Fittipaldi wheels for winning the inaugural SKUSA Winter Series championship. The winner will have their choice of selecting style, size, and fitment upon winning the series championship, subject to stock and availability.

“This is an exciting promotion, and an exciting name to be affiliated with,” explained SKUSA president Tom Kutscher. “Emerson’s resume is well known. He is without a doubt one of the most successful racing drivers to have ever done it. It’s no secret he’s found a new interest with his son racing karts and we couldn’t be more proud to find a way to partner with him and his wheel company.”

The SKUSA Winter Series is a new micro championship for 2018, promoted by the same group responsible for the world renown SKUSA SuperNationals and SKUSA ProTour. Superkarts! USA has a long history in Florida, including some of its earliest successes. 2018 marks the return to the north east for the Temecula, California based outfit and they couldn’t be more optimistic or positive.

“Florida has a special place in SKUSA lore and history,” remarked Kutscher. “Anyone who has a longer memory will remember SKUSA’s earliest successes came in the state. We’re eager to get back to Florida and put on an amazing show for our racers, here and abroad. Promotions like the Fittipaldi Wheels contingency prize only serve to enhance what we’re doing and we couldn’t be more proud to be affiliated with Emmo.”

The Fine Print: The Fittipaldi wheels prize must be accepted as awarded. The Prize may not be sold, transferred and is not convertible to cash. Contest sponsors reserve
