The largest category growing in the United States is TaG Cadet. Year after year, an influx of young competitors jump into the quickest category available for kids under the age of 13 to begin molding themselves as a true driver. This year’s field is sold out again, and will feature 85 drivers all vying to be part of the SuperSunday field and to make a little bit of history.
No driver has yet to win back-to-back events, and 2015 will be no different with defending winner Guiseppe Fusco not making the trip from Italy to compete. This will mark the sixth different winner in as many races since the class was introduced in 2010. The previous two victories have gone to non-North Americans, and with 35% of the field coming from another continent, the chances of that happening are not too far off. Superkarts! USA competition will put a new badge on its tire program for 2016 with the introduction of the Evinco
As part of the continuing evolution of the Superkarts! USA platform, series principal Tom Kutscher is pleased to announce that the SKUSA Fikse Wheels Pro Tour and regional ProKart Challenge programs will be running a new spec tire in 2016 and beyond. In working closely with long-time partner, MG Tires, the two companies have reached a mutual agreement, which will see Superkarts! USA launching its own specific tire for competition: Evinco. The tire will continue to be manufactured to SKUSA’s exact specifications by long-time partner, MG Tires. Over the past three years, MG Tires provided SKUSA with their custom-badged MG “SK” White tire for the Stock Moto and TaG categories, and this partnership will continue with the new Evinco line of tires. Evinco will be an exclusive brand and distributed only by Superkarts! USA.

The 2015 Superkarts! USA SuperNationals will mark the fourth occasion during the 19-year history of the event of a location change. The first move came in 2002 when the event left the XPLEX for the Rio Hotel & Casino, leaving the home track where the event laid its roots in the sport during its first five years. After two years at the Rio, which took the annual shifterkart festival to the next level, the event moved east to the home of the ‘UNLV Rebels’ and the Sam Boyd Stadium parking lot, running four races at that unique venue. In 2008, Superkarts! USA was under the control of the Kutscher family, and Tom and Patti put in the groundwork to return to the Rio – setting up a seven-year run that attracted some of the biggest drivers in motorsports and featured some of the most exciting races in SuperNationals history. A new chapter will begin this November 18-22 as roughly 500 competitors from around the world will converge on the Las Vegas Convention Center for the SKUSA Fikse Wheels Pro Tour finale event.

Final chance to secure your position in the Superkarts! USA SuperNationals XIX in Las Vegas ends November 1 (Photo: On Track Promotions - otp.ca)
The countdown continues to this year’s Superkarts! USA SuperNationals XIX, as the massive event is set to make its debut at the Las Vegas Convention Center on November 18-22. Less than three weeks remain before karts hit the track for the final round of the 2015 Fikse Wheels Pro Tour, on a soon-to-be-released layout at the new location. As expected, anticipation grows day-by-day to see who will score the prestigious SuperNats victories and, of course, the national championship crowns. Competitors have been planning for this event for weeks and months, all for a chance to race in the main events on SuperSunday. There’s no arguing the fact that the ‘SuperNationals IS Vegas’ – as the race continues to make history, serving as the largest karting event in the world. More than 475 drivers are registered to compete at the new venue alongside the Las Vegas Strip as of the date of this release – with 500+ total entries expected. Pre-registration will close this Sunday evening, November 1, at midnight Pacific time. The karting community will then have an idea of the incredible cast of drivers who will highlight each of the nine classes. If you have not yet pre-registered, you should do so immediately.
