As anyone at the Moran BACKWARDS event can attest, Chuck had a rather spectacular "get-off" on the pit straight in the S4 Main. Thanks to the support of his track buddies Pete Mietz and John Modderman, Chuck is back home in Stockton beginning the road to recovery from shoulder, arm and collarbone injuries. Pete and John packed up Chuck's truck and trailer while he was still being checked out at the ER, picked him up as soon as he was released (9:30pm last night), and took him to the Best Western for the night. They put him on a plane this morning at Ontario and are currently driving back to Stockton. Friends like this are very special!
